Stage 2 First Contacts - Community and Remembrance
History
This engaging program addresses outcomes from both content strands. Students will participate in various workshops and activities that focus upon the traditional lifestyles of local Dharawal people. Students will develop an appreciation for the significance of the property as not only one rich in Aboriginal history, but also how it became the catalyst for the development of Australia’s Merino wool industry.

- Early rural settlers and camp establishment.

- Wagon ride to observe pastures, crops and cattle.

Department of Education Schools $15 per student - GST free
Non-gov Schools - $30 per student - GST free, minimum charge $650
Extreme or wet weather
Program may be modified, postponed or cancelled due to predicted extreme temperatures, bush fire danger, heavy rainfall, high winds or dust storms.
